Overview

Position:
House Attendant – Lifestyle Brand Operations at Wyndham Boston Beacon Hill, part of Pyramid Global Hospitality.

The role involves maintaining public and back‑of‑house cleanliness, supporting housekeeping teamwork, ensuring the hotel meets high lifestyle brand standards, and assisting with events and emergencies.

• Public Area Cleaning & Maintenance – Clean, maintain, and inspect all public areas (lobby, front entrance, hallways, elevators, stairwells, public restrooms, fitness center, business center, and commons). Perform vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting, polishing; restock restroom supplies; empty trash; clean fixtures and glass; report maintenance issues.
• Linen & Supply Operations – Deliver clean linens, towels, amenities, and supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping closets; collect soiled linens and transport to laundry or pickup points; organize and maintain linen closets; assist with laundry tasks; monitor supply levels and flag shortages.
• Back‑of‑House & Support Functions – Clean and organize back‑of‑house areas (housekeeping offices, storage rooms, loading docks, service corridors, employee areas). Remove trash and operate compactor; assist with room board flips, furniture moves, mattress rotations, and deep‑cleaning projects; support event and banquet setups and breakdowns; respond promptly to urgent cleaning requests from front desk, management, or other departments.
• Safety & Standards Compliance – Follow health, safety, and sanitation protocols (chemical use, PPE, infection control). Adhere to OSHA guidelines, hospital checkout, and hotel safety policies. Maintain equipment and report issues. Follow lost‑and‐found procedures. Participate in ongoing safety and operations training.

• Previous housekeeping, custodial, or cleaning experience in a hotel, resort, hospital, or similar environment (preferred but not required). Training will be provided for qualified individuals.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, positive attitude, and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks across multiple areas.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods; ability to operate floor‑care equipment and move furniture.
• Reliability and punctuality required; flexible to work varied schedules, including weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts.
• Basic English communication skills for team coordination and safety compliance; bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus.
• Preferred: Experience in a lifestyle, boutique, or upscale hotel; familiarity with commercial cleaning equipment (floor buffers, carpet extractors, industrial vacuums); knowledge of eco‑friendly cleaning practices; OSHA safety training or willingness to complete certification upon hire; genuine interest in hospitality and desire for career growth.

$25.00 – $27.00 hourly, adjusted for experience, certifications, and location.
