Salary Range: $15.00 - $17.00 Hourly

As a host, you’re the first impression of wagamama – the warm welcome, the calm in the rush, and the connector who sets the tone for the entire guest experience.

• Welcome guests with warmth, confidence, and genuine hospitality
• Create a memorable first impression while managing seating and waitlists
• Communicate wait times clearly and proactively to guests
• Support smooth service by coordinating with servers, managers, and kitchen teams
• Fill takeout orders for walk-ins and online guests with accuracy and care
• Work alongside teammates to complete side work

• Prior hospitality or customer service experience preferred
• Open Table experience preferred (but not required – we’ll teach you!)
• Strong communication and phone etiquette
• Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and willingness to jump in where needed
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
• Ability to move quickly and safely in a crowded environment
