House Attendant

As a House Attendant, you'll support housekeeping and hotel operations by helping maintain public areas, assisting housekeeping teams, and ensuring the property stays clean, organized, and guest-ready at all times. What you'll be doing

• Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across hotel public spaces including lobbies, hallways, elevators, restrooms, fitness centers, meeting spaces, and guest-facing areas.
• Support housekeeping operations by delivering linens, towels, amenities, supplies, rollaway beds, cribs, and operational items throughout the property.
• Assist Room Attendants and housekeeping leadership with operational support, deep cleaning projects, room readiness, and housekeeping requests.
• Remove trash, soiled linens, and debris from guest floors, housekeeping areas, and operational spaces throughout shifts.
• Maintain housekeeping closets, storage rooms, linen areas, and housekeeping carts in clean and organized condition.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, housekeeping calls, and operational needs throughout the hotel.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost and found items, and operational issues promptly to leadership teams.
• Follow sanitation procedures, chemical handling guidelines, hotel safety policies, and operational standards at all times.
• Support VIP arrivals, group business, event setup assistance, and special operational projects as needed.
• Partner closely with Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and Operations teams to support smooth hotel operations and guest satisfaction.
• Help create clean, welcoming, and comfortable spaces aligned with Sonesta's People People philosophy.
• Any other duties as assigned.

What great looks like

• Previous housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, janitorial, facilities, cleaning, or operational experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness, organization, and operational readiness.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and willingness to support the team wherever needed.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures, sanitation standards, chemical handling, and hotel safety practices preferred.
• Ability to respond professionally to guest requests and support operational teamwork across departments.
• Flexible availability including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and operational support as needed.
• A passion for hospitality, teamwork, cleanliness, and creating exceptional guest experiences behind the scenes.

Anticipated Pay Range & Additional Job Information

Pay Range $16.50-$17.50 Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience
