Compensation: $130,000-$160,000+ + Bonus

I'm currently hiring on behalf of a leading hospitality and restaurant group for a General Manager to lead the opening of an exclusive private members dining club in Boston.
This is a high-profile pre-opening opportunity for an experienced hospitality leader who understands luxury service, member relationships and creating a highly personalized guest experience.
The club will offer an elevated dining and hospitality experience for a carefully curated membership base, with a strong emphasis on service, relationships, discretion and attention to detail.
The General Manager will take a lead role in the pre-opening and ongoing operation of the club, establishing service standards, developing the team and creating a culture centered around exceptional member experiences.
The GM will work closely with senior leadership and oversee a multidisciplinary management team covering front-of-house, hospitality, wine, bar, concierge, reservations and events.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the pre-opening and launch of the private members dining club.
- Establish and maintain exceptional service and hospitality standards.
- Build strong, long-term relationships with members and key guests.
- Serve as a highly visible and engaged presence on the floor.
- Recruit, train, develop and retain a high-performing hospitality team.
- Work closely with concierge, reservations and events teams.
- Oversee daily operations, staffing, scheduling and service execution.
- Manage budgets, labor costs and operational performance.
- Develop and implement SOPs and service standards ahead of opening.
- Handle member feedback and ensure issues are resolved with discretion and professionalism.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on programming, events and member engagement.
- Help establish the club's culture, identity and reputation within the Boston market.
- Proven General Manager experience within a private members club, dining club, luxury restaurant or high-end hospitality environment
. - Strong pre-opening experience is highly preferred.
- Exceptional guest engagement and relationship-building skills.
- A natural hospitality leader who is highly visible and hands-on.
- Experience managing sophisticated, high-touch service environments.
- Strong understanding of luxury dining, wine, beverage and hospitality operations.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop and retain strong teams.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong personality, presence and cultural fit.
- A degree is not required
