We now have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Advisor to join our Regional HR team. This position will be based in Boston, USA.
About the roleThis role sits within Cognita’s central HR team supporting the USA region. As Recruitment Advisor, you will act as the primary recruitment lead, partnering closely with:
- School Senior Leadership Teams
- Central Reward Team
- Central HR Operations
You will oversee all aspects of recruitment end-to-end, ensuring a professional, high-quality hiring experience for both candidates and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for academic, operational, and specialist roles.
- Lead role briefings and provide guidance and market insight to hiring managers.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with senior leaders to understand current and future hiring needs.
- Coordinate offers and onboarding in partnership with Reward and HR Operations.
- Produce vacancy insights, recruitment reports, and analytics.
- Represent Cognita externally, ensuring an exceptional candidate experience.
The role is primarily remote, with occasional travel to the School.
Who we are looking forWe are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual with proven recruitment experience, ideally gained in a fast-paced environment. You will have experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and managing candidate data, along with strong numerical and analytical skills to support recruitment reporting. You will demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) is essential, as is the ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet tight deadlines.
A high level of attention to detail, confidentiality, and professionalism is crucial.

Compensation and Benefits- The salary range is $54,422.
- 401(k) - after 12 months’ service.
- Death in Service benefit after the eligible waiting period.
