Salary Range: Low $55,245 per year High $60,770 per year
Schedule: Full-time, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, primarily Monday through Friday, within the hours of 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
Job SummaryThe Human Resource Recruitment Specialist works closely with the Human Resource Manager and other departments throughout the organization in providing recruitment, onboarding and other human resources support to the agency’s management and employees in accordance with SFH goals and values.
In so doing, the Human Resource Recruitment Specialist takes the lead in sourcing, attracting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates to meet organizational staffing needs. Day-to-day tasks include creating recruitment strategies, posting job openings, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, maintaining candidate databases, coordinating onboarding processes, and fostering relationships with external recruitment partners. This role is also responsible for providing administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record keeping, file maintenance, and Human Resources/Payroll electronic system entry and tracking.
Responsibilities- Assisting, supporting and encouraging agency goals as it relates to diversity, equity, inclusion and opportunities for recruitment and staffing of internal staff, and external applicants.
- Exercises discretion in dealing with sensitive and confidential matters like employee data and organizational changes to ensure the security of information, data and files.
- Coordinates and implements the agency’s recruiting programs and assists in keeping the company up to date on best recruiting practices, such as advertisement, government unemployment agencies, appropriate job boards, other social media sites, and colleague search and college and university employer resource services.
- Relies on experience and best judgment to coordinate and accomplish agency hiring goals.
- Coordinates and participates in the recruitment, applicant review, screen, selection and interview process by prescreening appropriate candidates, scheduling meetings and interviews as required and needed to ensure positions are filled in a timely and efficient manner.
- Prepares and posts job openings, schedules interviews, coordinates the selection process, to include completing reference/background checks as required by Agency guidelines.
- Develops a network of employer resource services and participates in job and/or college fair activities, recruitment events and agency open houses.
- Tracks status of candidates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and responds with follow-up communication (letters and/or phone calls) at the end of the recruiting process.
- Arranges and schedules meetings, tracking and following up with deadlines as appropriate.
- Works with other HR Specialist(s) to administer and monitor the new hire on-boarding process, ensures all required departments are notified and systems are activated.
- Keeps up-to-date with the latest HR (recruiting, organizational development, safety, compliance) laws, trends and best practices.
- Maintains and processes employee records, to include but not limited to filing, new hire, changes, and terminations.
- Performs other duties as needed.

- Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and staff.

- Proficiency in English.

- Demonstrated experience in any of the following areas: organizational and staff development, recruitment or human resources.
