Audax Group is seeking an HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team in Boston. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their HR or administrative career who is highly organized, detail‑oriented, and eager to gain exposure across all aspects of Human Resources in a fast‑paced professional environment.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition team to manage interview logistics for Support, Private Equity, and Private Debt roles
- Communicate with candidates and recruiters to confirm interview schedules and logistics
- Schedule interviews, book conference rooms, prepare interview schedules, and distribute resumes
- Greet candidates, monitor interview schedules, and ensure a positive on‑site interview experience
- Maintain open position trackers, recruiting status reports, referrals, candidate travel reimbursement, and agency invoicing
- Manage and track third‑party agency agreements with legal for approvals
- Assist with campus recruiting efforts, including preparation, scheduling, and logistics
- Contact candidates, schedule interviews, and support on‑campus interview days
- Send candidate communications and notifications
- Assist with scheduling Super Days and candidate visits to Boston
- Process intern expenses and respond to related inquiries
- Maintain health and welfare billing and employee benefit files
- Assist with benefits enrollments and terminations
- Enroll new hires in benefit carrier plans
- Assist with processing HR‑related bills and expenses
- Communicate with new hires prior to starting regarding onboarding information
- Enter and manage new hire information in our onboarding & Recruiting ATS platform (Greenhouse)
- Prepare onboarding paperwork, forms, and orientation schedules
- Assist with benefits orientation preparation and attend sessions to gain understanding of benefit plans
- Prepare and maintain employee files; track paperwork and signatures
- Prepare off‑boarding paperwork, termination packets, and schedule exit interviews
- Calendar management / scheduling
- Provide administrative support to the Managing Director and HR team, including travel coordination and expense reports, invoice processing, etc.
- Bachelor’s degree or related field
- 0–2 years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to present information clearly and concisely
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer‑service mindset with demonstrated initiative
- Proven ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
LOCATION:
Boston, MA. This position is in the office 3‑4 days/week. These in‑office requirements may be adjusted based on the needs of the business.
The base salary range for this position is $60,000- $70,000. The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation may vary and will be determined based on but not limited to, the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and Audax reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
An employee may also be eligible for annual discretionary incentive compensation based on performance.
