Kforce has a client that is seeking a Recruiter/HR Generalist onsite in the Boston, MA area.
Summary:
We are looking for a highly organized Recruiter/HR Generalist to support our HR team with full-cycle recruitment, onboarding, HR operations, and compliance. This role helps ensure we hire and support quality staff who deliver community-based services for individuals with developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiter/HR Generalist will manage full-cycle recruiting: posting jobs, screening, interviewing, reference checks, and tracking applicants
- Conduct CORI, SORI, DPPC, fingerprinting, and maintain compliance with all background check policies
- Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all required onboarding documents are completed
- Maintain ADP HRIS data, schedules, payroll status changes, and I-9/E-Verify compliance
- Research new recruitment sources and participate in job fairs
- As a Recruiter/HR Generalist, you will support general HR functions including filing, document management, and administrative tasks
- Provide occasional backup coverage at the front desk
- High School diploma/GED required;
College degree preferred - 2+ years of recruiting or HR experience
- Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills
- Strong initiative and ability to follow policies and procedures
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel)
- Respectful, professional, and supportive interpersonal style
- Commitment to diversity, dignity, and community inclusion
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally with staff at all levels
- Valid driver's license and acceptable background checks (CORI & fingerprinting)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
