Talent Manager, HR / Recruitment Consultant
The Legal Search Executive Recruiter is responsible for executing the full life cycle of direct hire recruiting for attorney roles within law firms and corporate legal departments. Partners with clients to define strategic objectives and hiring needs. Analyzes hiring needs, determines best recruiting methods, creates and deploys client and role-specific recruiting strategies. Develops client accounts and generates new business through candidate and client leads, referrals and various forms of marketing.
Builds and maintains a comprehensive candidate pipeline that addresses client needs. Serves as subject matter expert on market trends, target industries, and roles.
- Source and interview candidates for attorney roles within law firms and corporate legal departments.
- Conduct cold calling to identify potential leads and effectively market candidates to clients, showcasing their skills and suitability for specific roles.
- Develop and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing and relationship-building.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from initial contact to offer negotiation and onboarding, on behalf of your candidates and clients.
- Utilize various recruitment tools and platforms to identify and attract candidates.
- Cultivates client accounts and drives new business by leveraging candidate and client leads, referrals and a variety of marketing strategies.
- Keeps up to date with current industry trends and recruitment best practices, while building and maintaining a network of professional contacts through active participation in trade associations and networking organizations.
- Proven experience practicing law and the desire to move into a sales/recruiting role.
- Prior sales experience (retail, client services, business development, real estate), is a plus.
- The ability to sit in [Insert City] to facilitate candidate and client meetings is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of attorney roles and the skills required for success in these positions.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $50K-90K. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, key skills, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the position is also eligible for incentive compensation based on achievements outlined in the compensation plan.
