SALARY: $40,000 to $50,000
JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Associate HR Director, the HR Assistant will provide exceptional human resources services in support of all operations across Agency divisions and departments. Responsibilities will include complex and routine work in all functional areas of HR. This position is a dedicated individual who supports the HR team in resolving employee inquiries. This position actively applies foundational and knowledge of HR best practices based on employment and labor laws, and company policies and procedures, to ensure compliance with federal- and state-specific guidelines.
The HR Assistant is an important member of all departments' service component, focused on providing excellent customer service to our staff. In addition, the HR Assistant also supports benefits and employee relations, and provides administrative support with the day-to-day activities of the HR team. The incumbent is required to assist in other areas of the HR function, including projects, scheduling and other administrative tasks as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties 1-16 are designated as ADA essential functions and must be performed in this job. All other job duties are secondary functions. [TBD]

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS- Associates degree in Human Resources, Business or related field, Bachelor's preferred.
- Strong communication, verbal and written, as well as strong relationship building skills are required.
- Experience with HRIS systems preferred.
- Exceptional problem-solving and expert decision-making skills a must.
- Must possess excellent organizational skills and must be detailed oriented.
- Comfortable working with a professional and diverse employee population.
- Ability to work with and maintain sensitive and confidential information required.
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to actively contribute as a team player.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy with superior attention to detail required.
- Flexibility and ability to prioritize while alternating between tasks.
- Adaptability and willingness to consistently learn new skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other related computer applications required.
- Communicate effectively and timely on a regular basis.
- Work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Understand and apply various employment and labor laws to the day-to-day operations of the HR office.
- Effectively manage and organize workload, and deliver on critical tasks.
- Hybrid workplace, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm, 35 hours FT
- In office 2 days per week, 3 days per week remote (additional on-site days may be required)
