Some HR roles are about policies, paperwork, and telling people what they can’t do.
This one is about building culture, backing leaders, and making work better for hundreds of people — every single day.
This is a hands-on HR leadership role in a fast-moving, unionised manufacturing operation where decisions matter, pace is high, and HR is expected to lead from the front.
You’ll be the senior people partner for multiple operational units, trusted by leadership, visible on the floor, and accountable for delivering real impact across engagement, performance, compliance, and retention.
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Partnering with senior operational leaders to align people strategy with business goals
- Leading workforce planning, succession, engagement and retention initiatives
- Owning complex employee relations issues — investigations, grievances, disciplinary actions — and getting them right
- Ensuring full compliance with federal, state and local employment law (including union CBAs)
- Leading, coaching and developing a team of HR Generalists and Coordinators
- Driving culture, performance management and leadership development
- Overseeing HR operations — HRIS accuracy, timecards, leave management, audits and reporting
What you’ll need:
- Proven HR leadership experience, ideally in Food & Beverage Manufacturing.
- Confident operating in a unionised, compliance-heavy environment
- Enjoy being visible, influential and involved in the operation — not hidden in an office
- Bachelors Degree in HR or Related
If you want a HR role where you’re trusted to make decisions, shape culture, and genuinely improve the employee experience — this is one worth exploring.
