Overview
Join our client, a renowned public health organization dedicated to advancing health equity as a crucial member of the team, you will lead efforts to streamline and enhance the talent acquisition and onboarding processes for a large, decentralized workforce. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a mission-driven organization.
Compensation$An annual salary range of $85,000 to $95,000.
Responsibilities- Develop and refine talent acquisition procedures to create a modern and scalable Talent Operations system.
- Coordinate daily workflow management and guide the Talent Operations Specialist, while supporting the HR Generalist with onboarding activities.
- Collaborate with organizational leaders to ensure Talent Operations strategies align with broader organizational objectives.
- Facilitate a smooth, engaging experience for candidates from initial contact through onboarding.
- Oversee the completion of employment requirements such as I-9 verification, vaccination documentation, background screenings, and compliance checks.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex or sensitive candidate-related issues.
- Maintain clear communication with candidates, hiring managers, and external recruitment partners to ensure consistency throughout all hiring stages.
- Track onboarding progress and meet all standardized timelines and quality benchmarks.
- Supervise and support team members, fostering their professional growth and high-quality work.
- Manage new-hire data within HRIS platforms like Workday and ADP Enterprise, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Optimize workflows within Workday to improve efficiency and reduce processing times.
- Generate reports and dashboards to monitor onboarding metrics and identify areas for process enhancement.
- Lead initiatives to improve Talent Operations workflows, candidate communication, and onboarding outcomes through data-driven insights.
- Oversee cross-functional projects and serve as a subject-matter expert within HR, contributing to overall talent management excellence.
- Demonstrated commitment to racial and social justice, health equity, and addressing systemic inequities.
- Bachelor's degree or comparable professional experience.
- Extensive background in Talent Acquisition or HR Operations.
- Proven leadership experience supervising or coaching staff.
- Hands-on proficiency with Workday and ADP Enterprise, including workflow management.
- Experienced with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.
- Attention to detail, effective problem-solving capabilities, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
