HR Operations Administrator
The Employee Support team handles employee data updates, exit management, service request management, automation projects, etc. The HR Operations Administrator will manage up to the Americas Employee Support profile and various processes.
Responsibilities- Responding to HR general questions from employees via the ticketing system.
- Collaborate with Benefits, Employee Relations, HRBP's, Payroll and others to respond to inquiries.
- Support HR systems with IT to ensure system upgrades and changes are implemented successfully.
- Participate in and lead HR projects and special programs.
- Manage full lifecycle of leave of absences and work with stakeholders to ensure compliance.
- Manage full lifecycle of accommodations and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure fulfillment and compliance.
- 2‑3 years of HR Operations experience and a bachelor’s degree in HR/Business or related field.
- 2+ years of direct leave of absence and accommodation experience.
- Exceptional written, verbal, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Understands HR processes end‑to‑end (candidate support, onboarding, employee support, etc.).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets).
- Working knowledge of case management systems (e.g., Service Now) and HRIS systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud).
- Project management skills and adaptability to changes.
This flexible role may be performed from home or the local Akamai office in Cambridge, MA. We encourage discussions about work options.
Benefits and CompensationAkamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US‑based candidates, the base salary ranges from $47,100‑$84,900 per year; additional compensation may include annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
