Regulatory Compliance Specialist, HR Manager, HR Generalist / Talent Management
The Total Rewards Team Lead is responsible for administering and guiding the Company’s U.S. benefits and global compensation programs and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The position is directly responsible for ensuring operational excellence, market competitiveness, and the sustainability of compensation, benefits, and leaves of absence programs through strong collaboration and partnership with employees, managers, executives, and the global Human Resources team.
- Administers the Company’s benefit plans and policies to ensure all plans support our Company culture and are positioned to be highly competitive in the market.
- Maintains company-wide compliance with government regulations including FLSA and Equal Pay Act, DOL, wage and hour regulations, ERISA, 401(k), COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, PFML, and IRS regulations.
- Administers the Company’s leave of absence plans including STD and LTD, and ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations and statutory requirements.
- Oversees the Company’s ADA reasonable accommodation process to ensure consistent administration, effective collaboration with employees and managers, and compliance with applicable requirements.
- Provides data analysis, identifies trends, and makes recommendations related to total rewards programs.
- Develops strong partnerships with brokers and key advisors to ensure compliance and market-competitive benefit offerings.
- Administers and develops compensation approaches and leveling recommendations in partnership with managers and global Human Resources teams.
- Ensures global compensation plans are highly competitive by utilizing competitive benchmark data and market surveys.
- Leverages AI and emerging technologies to enhance operational efficiency, strengthen insights, and support continuous improvement across compensation, benefits, accommodations, and leave programs.
- Supports, guides, trains, and coaches a team to set daily and weekly goals, check work progress, track performance metrics, and complete tasks.
- Listens and acts as a resource to employees and managers with a high degree of understanding, support, and empathy.
- 6+ years of benefits and compensation administration experience in a mid-sized company.
- Experience leading direct reports, setting priorities, coaching performance, and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
- Strong track record of collaboration and proactive communication across multiple teams and stakeholders with a solutions-focused approach.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Experience with ERISA, IRS, and DOL audits, reporting, and disclosure compliance; FLSA and leave compliance.
- Working knowledge of Workday and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Preferred:
Certification(s) in one or more of the following:
Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), Global Remuneration Professional (GRP), Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP), or related certification.

Inter Systems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance.
Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive.
