In this role as an Associate HR Consultant, you will serve as an associate relations subject matter expert supporting complex employee relations matter for a well-known health insurance company based in Massachusetts. You will get to partner closely with HR business partners and key stakeholders as a trusted advisor.

Responsibilities
- Provide consultation and resolution for complex associate relations inquiries under minimal supervision
- Advise employees and leaders at all levels including senior executives
- Guide leaders on performance management corrective action discipline and preparation for employee conversations
- Coach leaders and associates to resolve interpersonal conflicts disputes and complaints
- Conduct and document thorough impartial workplace investigations as needed
- Maintain complete case notes including actions decisions and outcomes in the case management system
- Compile analyze and review case data quarterly or as needed and share themes with HR business partners
- Facilitate training to address trends and support associate relations strategy
- Support onboarding guidance and mentorship for other advisory services team members
- Contribute to projects and continuous improvement work as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience
- 3 - 4+years of employee relations experience
- Strong working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations
- Excellent consultative listening and verbal written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience conducting formal investigations and recommending outcomes to senior leaders
- Proven discretion and composure in confidential sensitive and emotionally charged situations
- Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office plus experience with HRIS and case management system
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR or SHRM CP certification
