Position: Human Resources (HR) Generalist
We are looking for an HR Generalist to support a non-profit organization in Boston, Massachusetts with a broad range of people operations activities. This Long-term Contract position will focus on strengthening day-to-day HR support across employee relations, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR records management. The ideal candidate will bring a service-oriented approach, sound judgment, and the ability to manage sensitive matters effectively.

Responsibilities:
• Advise employees and managers on workplace concerns, policies, and general employee relations matters while helping resolve issues in a timely and thoughtful manner.
• Coordinate end-to-end onboarding activities, including pre-employment documentation, orientation scheduling, and new employee readiness.
• Administer core HR processes and maintain accurate personnel records, ensuring documentation is complete, current, and compliant.
• Support benefits-related activities by assisting with enrollments, updates, employee questions, and routine follow-up with vendors or internal stakeholders.
• Manage data entry and record accuracy within the HRIS, helping maintain reliable employee information and reporting.
• Respond to day-to-day HR inquiries and provide administrative support across the employee lifecycle.
• Assist with policy communication, process documentation, and other HR operational tasks that contribute to an organized and effective department.
