Human Resources Generalist

We are currently seeking candidates for a Human Resources Generalist at a consumer goods co. in Downtown Boston, MA 02110.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of human resources generalist and payroll/benefits experience.

This is a temporary role (est. 4+ months) with an opportunity for extension and/or an opportunity to become permanent.

Hourly Pay Rate:
Between $42.00 and $52.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

On-site five days per week.

Starts October 12th, 2026.

• Assist payroll
• Administer employee benefits programs
• Support onboarding and offboarding activities, including new hire setup and I-9 compliance
• Answer employee questions related to payroll, benefits, and other HR issues
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour requirements
• Support offer preparation, background checks, and pre-employment requirements
• Schedule meeting and conference rooms
• Utilize computer network for employee records, job changes, compensation updates, and reporting

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 3+ years of human resources generalist experience (including assisting in the payroll process and administration of benefits)
• Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Exhibit a high degree of initiative in managing multiple priorities simultaneously
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workflow
