Core Responsibilities

• Lead the administration, maintenance, and tuning of Windows Server platforms.
• Develop and oversee Hyper‑V failover clusters, ensuring optimal uptime and throughput.
• Deploy, maintain, and support clustered Microsoft SQL Server environments with a focus on continuity and disaster recovery.
• Oversee enterprise‑grade storage infrastructures, including Pure Storage systems and Exagrid backup devices.
• Manage iSCSI networks, ensuring seamless, reliable data flow between clustered systems.
• Implement and refine Veeam backup solutions, conducting regular testing and documentation for disaster recovery processes.
• Coordinate patching and update schedules across live and DR landscapes.
• Maintain strict adherence to security policies, user permissions, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the architecture and operation of hybrid (on‑premise and Azure) systems.
• Partner on implementation of automation and infrastructure‑as‑code workflows, using tools like Terraform when appropriate.
• Act as the primary escalation point for intricate infrastructure challenges.
• Provide mentorship to engineering staff and communicate solutions to cross‑functional teams.

Core Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure
• Windows Server system administration
• Managing and scaling Hyper‑V virtualized infrastructure
• Supporting SQL Server high‑availability configurations
• Implementing and maintaining Veeam B&R for business continuity
