Description:
We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Agile SPC/ Implementer plus Release Train Engineer (RTE) to join our growing team. The major responsibilities are to facilitate the Agile Release Train events and processes and assist the teams in delivering value. Help implementing lean agile principles and practices across organizational business units to deliver large scale homogenous solutions created by dedicated groups of teams.
Provides guidance and leadership in program design & execution. communicate with stakeholders, escalate impediments, help manage risk, and drive relentless improvement. We are seeking a candidate who has proven leadership skills, the ability to think critically and problem-solve, and a track-record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met
Your future duties and responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the flow of value by steering the Agile Release Trains (ART) to
- success and navigating the complexity of delivering software consistently in large
- environments. The RTE’s focus is to deliver value by managing program level processes,
- execution, and continuous improvement.
- Coached and Driven teams and business towards a product driven mindset and culture
- Trained and Coached of Scrum and Kanban teams on Story writing, Ticket intake and
- work Flow efficiency with a strong focus on Cycle Times
- Worked with Business Owners, Product Mangers & Product Owners in creating and
- setting up requirement backlogs for Epics and Features
- Facilitated Planning sessions between Tech teams and Business owners and conducted
- monthly outcome-based agile maturity assessments for teams
- Set up and facilitated PI Planning workshops, dependencies mapping
- Trained and Coached Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile BA’s, AVP’s and VP’s on SAFe
- framework and adoption
- Establish and communicate the annual calendars for Iterations and Program Increments
- (PIs) Facilitate PI Planning readiness
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must haves:
- At least 1 year experience as an RTE (i.e. leading an ART through 4 Program
- Increments) + 3-5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum (Scrum Master, Product
- Owner/Manager, Agile Coach, with preference for background as SM/Agile Coach)
- Located on-shore, in US EST or Central time zone and able to travel to MA/NY for onsite
- PI Planning facilitation and other workshops as needed
- Nice-to-have:
- SAFe RTE certification
