Overview

A database administrator, or DBA, is responsible for maintaining, securing, and operating databases and ensures data is accessible, accurate, and protected, while optimizing performance and managing backups. DBAs work with platforms predominantly SQL; other databases would be an added advantage. Key

• Having 10+ years of experience in handling multiple databases.
• Good understanding on No
  
  SQL databases like Mongo
  
  DB and Elastic Search.
• Able to manage Install, Upgrade, Patching and Configuration of Databases.
• Good understanding on monitoring and Performance Tuning.
• Good understanding on SQL and PL/SQL is required.
• Good understanding on OLTP and OLAP data models is required.
• Able to create, update, delete and manage the users and roles in different databases.
• Should be able to implement security at database level and network level.
• Create automation for repeating database tasks like backup and restore.
• Should be able to do import and export in all the databases.
• Data modelling and database, Warehouse design.
