Infrastructure Project Manager

Position:
Infrastructure Project Manager —
Duration: 12 Months contract —
Interviews: 3 rounds

Role focuses on infrastructure and network; required to switch out network equipment and update wireless access across multiple buildings. Smartsheet is a must. Team size 30, mainly working with roughly 5-7 people.

• Hands-on project management responsible for resource and schedule management, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
• Travel to different parts of campus as needed.
• On-site duties related to infrastructure and network deployment.

• 5-6 years of experience; higher education industry a plus.
• Self-starter with proven track record managing complex IT initiatives in dynamic environments; strong leadership and influencing skills.
• PMO knowledge: expert in methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, hybrid); proficient with MS Project, Smartsheet, Service Now, or Jira.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; ability to present to senior leadership; ability to build relationships across stakeholders.
• Deep understanding of business processes and IT alignment; ability to deliver measurable value; experience in resource planning and budgeting for large-scale projects.
• Infrastructure knowledge: progressive network infrastructure experience; hands-on preferred; current RCDD desired; familiarity with blueprints, construction docs, AutoCAD; knowledge of BCSI standards; cabling structures including fiber, copper, coaxial is a plus.

• On-site work environment attributes and adaptability to work across building and materials environments.
• Construction or related field experience is a plus (not required).
• Importance of Smartsheet proficiency.
