Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Quality Engineer to support enterprise applications through comprehensive testing and automation initiatives. This role partners with business users, developers, and global testing teams to ensure high-quality software releases across core systems and third-party integrations. The ideal candidate brings strong automation expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous quality improvement.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Perform hands‑on testing across core and supplemental applications, including third‑party system integrations
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts
  • Execute automated test cases and analyze results to validate application requirements
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with onsite and offshore teams to build long‑term automation strategies
  • Support end‑to‑end test planning, execution, defect tracking, and reporting
  • Develop and execute test scenarios to validate data quality and system integrity
  • Partner with business users during User Acceptance Testing to resolve feedback and issues
  • Improve QA processes to prevent recurring defects
  • Ensure quality throughout the full software development lifecycle
  • Participate in defect troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Track and apply quality metrics to improve testing effectiveness
  • Maintain strong testing documentation and best practices
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in quality engineering, automated testing, and execution across web and desktop applications
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language
  • Strong understanding of test automation best practices
  • Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to work both independently and within team environments
  • Solid knowledge of Agile methodologies and full SDLC/STLC processes
  • Experience with defect tracking tools such as Azure Dev Ops, Jira, or similar systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in fast‑paced environments
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in commercial insurance or regulated enterprise systems
  • Familiarity with enterprise policy or claims platforms and integrations
  • Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Katalon, or performance testing tools
