Test Team Lead

Contract Day Rate: $600

We are supporting a large-scale enterprise data programme and are seeking an experienced Onsite Test Lead to take ownership of testing delivery across a modern data and analytics landscape.

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who can balance data testing expertise with strong programme and stakeholder management capability.

You will be responsible for leading end-to-end testing activities, ensuring high-quality delivery aligned with business and customer objectives.

• Leading project planning and defining clear testing objectives
• Authoring and owning data test strategies
• Estimating testing effort and identifying resourcing needs
• Managing and facilitating User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Tracking, analysing, and driving UAT defects to closure
• Facilitating defect triage meetings with technical and business stakeholders
• Acting as the onsite testing lead and coordinating with offshore teams

• 10–13 years of experience in testing, with a strong focus on data testing
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Experience with DBT
• Exposure to TIBCO Spotfire and Power BI
• API testing experience
• Experience validating data files such as CSVs
• Strong knowledge of test management tools
• Understanding of test automation and data testing tools
• Proven experience leading cross-functional and offshore teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and delivery
