Position Summary:
Our client, a government entity, is seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer to troubleshoot and enhance a recently launched Salesforce application, ensuring optimized functionality and public service delivery. The ideal candidate brings both technical fluency and a deep understanding of how to map.
This is a full-time (37.5 hrs a week), contract position which is expected to last between 6 and 12 months and can be completely remote.
Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and optimize Salesforce solutions that align with agency goals, compliance frameworks, and service mandates.
- Collaborating with program managers and policy leads to converting operational requirements into functional Salesforce capabilities.
- Ensure platform configurations meet data governance, cybersecurity, and accessibility standards including FedRAMP, FISMA, and Section 508.
- Integrate Salesforce with legacy systems to streamline workflows and enhance interagency collaboration.
- Provide training and knowledge transfer to government teams, fostering long-term platform sustainability.
- Hands-on Salesforce Development: 3–5+ years of direct experience in developing and shipping Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Components (Aura/LWC), and Visualforce pages.
- Salesforce Data Model Proficiency:
Advanced skills in designing and refactoring complex custom objects, lookups, master-detail relationships, and automation (Flows, Process Builder). - Integrations experience:
Build/Maintain integrations – API (Rest/Soap) with 3rd parties, OAuth, Mulesoft, etc. - Testing/Deployments:
Automated tests / BDD; CI/CD. - Copado expertise
. - Familiarity with regulatory requirements and public sector IT compliance frameworks.
- Ability to translate programmatic needs into agile technical solutions.
- Salesforce Certified Administrator.
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer.
- Salesforce Certified Omni Studio Developer.
- Salesforce Certified Consultant (Public Sector Solutions, Sales Cloud, or Service Cloud).
- Scrum experience is preferred.
