Desktop Support Technician

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, peripheral devices, and software in compliance with established standards and guidelines
• Build, configure, and deploy computers and peripherals for new hires, including shipping equipment to remote users
• Maintain accurate computer inventory records and manage surplus equipment
• Provide Level 2 support for desktop hardware, Windows 11 operating systems, and software applications
• Assist with technical upgrades and ongoing maintenance of desktop systems
• Deliver end‑user support for mobile email solutions
• Apply analytical and systematic problem‑solving techniques to resolve technical issues
• Communicate clearly and effectively, presenting complex technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences

• BA/BS in a technology‑related field or equivalent experience;
  Microsoft certifications preferred
• 5+ years of experience in desktop support
• Strong experience supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 (M365/O365)
• Hands‑on experience with PC imaging, refresh, and IMAC using MECM
• Experience deploying and supporting applications via MECM, Intune, and App‑V
• Working knowledge of Active Directory and endpoint administration
• Experience supporting Dell hardware and coordinating with warranty vendors
• Strong troubleshooting skills across software, hardware, networking, and printing
• Experience using Service Now or similar ITSM/ticketing systems
• Excellent time management, customer service, and communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
