We are seeking an experienced and forward-thinking product manager with a thorough understanding of today’s challenges and opportunities in the field of interoperability, integration, and API‑driven development, to help meet the needs of our customers connecting systems and services to model business processes and build connected applications.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a leading role in creating the product strategy and roadmap, defining new product capabilities based on market needs, and executing the delivery of technology and applications to enterprises running life‑critical applications on Inter Systems products.

You will be working closely with stakeholders from across the organization, including the integration & platform engineering teams, cloud operations, sales engineering and marketing, as well as key customers, ensuring everyone has a common understanding of the specific challenges we’re facing, their relative priority, and the solutions we’re implementing to address them.

• Proactively engage with customers, prospects, and industry experts to identify gaps in our portfolio; leverage market research to inform build/buy/partner decisions for addressing those gaps; and build effective working relationships with technology partners.
• Based on market research, analysis and expertise, formulate a strategy and roadmap for our existing and new product offerings around interoperability, integration and full‑stack development.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to align product development and technology partnerships with user needs and business goals.
• Drive excitement, adoption, and satisfaction for new product releases by ensuring that Inter Systems stakeholders and partners are well‑prepared with the appropriate information, collateral, and messaging.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in software engineering or product management are a plus.
• At least 7 years of experience with integration products and technologies, such as data integration, business process modeling, API management, web services, etc.
• At least 5 years of experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Solution Architect.
• Hands‑on experience with Python or a comparable programming language, REST, and JSON. Able to build quick demos and prototypes, optionally leveraging AI tools to accelerate development.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong project management skills, able to take projects from a fuzzy start to a fully documented finish.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, database management, full‑stack application development and cloud technologies and concepts is desirable.

Inter Systems is providing a current good faith estimate of the anticipated base salary range for this position depending on a variety of factors including experience, education, skills, and performance. Other compensation may include a discretionary annual variable target incentive. The estimated base compensation range for this role is: $143,000 - $186,000 USD.
