Position: Team Lead - Epic Resolute (Hospital Billing)

Position Summary This role supervises a team of four analysts supporting the Epic Hospital Billing application, ensuring reliable day-to-day operations, timely issue resolution, and strong collaboration with vendors and internal departments. The position leads troubleshooting, production support, and system maintenance, while proactively managing user concerns and communications with stakeholders. It also serves as a Team Lead for projects, overseeing planning, execution, testing, implementation, documentation, and ongoing support using standard project management practices, along with handling additional assigned duties as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Provides supervision of a team of 4 analysts that provide day to day support of the Epic Hospital Billing application
  • Ensures that support procedures are clearly documented and kept up to date
  • Develops support practices that support high availability of systems while maximizing the capabilities of the system
  • Provides on-call support if needed
  • Identifies, triages and resolves issues
  • Performs routine system maintenance activities
  • Maintains good working relationships with vendors and vendor support personnel
  • Collaborates with assigned departments to integrate ITS support work with efforts provided by local departments
  • Facilitates resolution of application issues, user concerns or production support issues in a proactive manner
  • Manages the relationship between technical teams and departmental owners, outside vendors or service providers to assist in communicating production issues and updates ITS management as needed
  • Leads troubleshooting to identify production problems, develops corrective action, tests and implements with appropriate user involvement
  • Coordinates development of systems or manual workarounds in various business areas
  • Presents solutions to ITS management and documents issue resolution
  • Provides ongoing communication until resolution is reached
Project Management
  • Plans, manages and oversees projects as the Team Lead, utilizing recognized project management methodology
  • Develops a project summary including scope and objectives
  • Uses management and status reporting tools
  • Conducts feasibility and cost-benefit studies
  • Defines requirements (functional and/or technical)
  • Performs system testing/quality assurance
  • Coordinates training, implementation and post-implementation/on-going support
  • Performs project administrative activities
  • Maintains project documentation
Qualifications

Education Associate's degree in Computer Science, Information Management or related field (or equivalent combination of formal education and experience). Bachelor’s degree preferred. At least five years of information systems experience as a senior clinical/business analyst or project manager is required.

Certification At least 1 EPIC Certification required, HB preferred

Compensation & Other Details

Compensation Range $71,500.00 - $

This range offers an estimate based on the minimum job qualifications. However, our approach to determining base pay is comprehensive, and a broad range of factors is considered when making an offer. This includes education, experience, skills, and certifications/licensures as they directly relate to position requirements; as well as business/organizational needs, internal equity, and market-competitiveness.
