Senior Consultant SAP WM

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

As a
Senior SAP WM Consultant
, you will:

• Lead the implementation and optimization of warehouse processes using SAP WM
  , from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Conduct workshops to analyze business needs and define inbound/outbound processes (receiving, put away, picking, packing, shipping), as well as physical and cycle counting.
• Configure warehouse layout (storage types, bins, activity areas) and manage integrations with
  SD/MM/PP/QM modules.
• Support testing phases (UAT), cutover, and hyper care, ensuring proper documentation and governance.
• Collaborate with project teams and contribute to pre‑sales activities and solution demos.

High School Diploma/GED

Bachelor's Degree

• Solid experience with
  SAP WM in implementation or rollout projects.
• Strong skills in customizing (SPRO) and managing storage types, bins, picking and put away processes.
• Knowledge of integration with
  SD/MM/PP/QM modules.
• Ability to troubleshoot and analyze system logs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Knowledge of
  SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) and advanced functionalities.
• Experience in migration projects from WM to EWM or upgrades to
  SAP S/4
  
  HANA
  .
• Familiarity with complex processes such as
  Cross‑Docking, VAS, Yard Management
  .
• Integration with automation systems (WCS, voice‑picking, barcode).
• SAP certifications in WM/EWM.
• Experience in international environments and industries such as
  logistics, retail, pharma
  .
• Understanding of
  Agile/Scrum methodologies and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
