Data Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Science Manager
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)
Compensation: $90,000–$120,000 DOE, plus bonus and benefits
We're partnered with a premier Boston IP law firm, who're seeking a Data Science Engineer to build and own their data capabilities from the ground up.
This is a rare hybrid Data Scientist/Engineer/Analyst role where you'll have full lifecycle ownership – from pipeline orchestration through actionable insights – reporting directly to IT leadership.
The RoleOur client needs a hands‑on builder who can deliver practical data solutions using the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. They need someone with proven, real‑world Data Science experience who's ran production pipelines.
Key Responsibilities- Design, build, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Lake houses, Synapse, Data Factory (Snowflake experience transferable)
- Cleanse, transform, and process raw legal/firm data using Python
- Deliver end-to-end analytics solutions from ingestion to executive dashboards
- Collaborate with IT leadership on strategic data initiatives supporting firm growth
- 3+ years practical data engineering with data pipeline orchestration
- Strong Python for data cleansing and processing
- Proven experience with Microsoft Fabric (Azure Lake houses, Synapse, Data Factory) and/or Snowflake
- Full lifecycle ownership mindset (not just analysis)
You will need Legal or Professional Services industry experience to be considered.
