This is a full-time, hybrid position based in Boston, MA. As Senior Solutions Architect, you will design customized drug discovery and agentic AI architectures for biotech and pharma partners, serve as a trusted counterpart to external scientific teams, and work directly with senior leadership, product and research teams, and Business Development in a high-visibility, high-impact, and fast-growth setting.
Key Responsibilities- Design customized drug discovery and agentic AI solution architectures tailored to the scientific objectives, constraints, and maturity of biotech and pharma partners
- Translate customer challenges into structured solution frameworks, including platform configurations, workflow designs, scope definitions, and success criteria, and help frame use cases, value propositions, and differentiation in customer-appropriate language
- Serve as the primary owner of the solution narrative, ensuring consistency across technical, scientific, and business dimensions
- Partner closely with Business Development to support pre-sales discovery, technical deep dives, and executive-level scientific presentations
- Serve as a trusted technical counterpart to customer teams, including computational scientists, medicinal chemists, and research leaders
- Represent Atombeat in key external meetings, conferences, and workshops
- Collaborate with internal product, platform, and research teams to align proposed solutions with technical capabilities, ensure smooth handoffs from pre-sales architecture to project execution, refine reusable solution patterns and best practices over time, inform roadmap through customer feedback, and support internal documentation, templates, and reference architectures
- 3+ years of experience in drug discovery, computational chemistry, AI-driven research platforms, or related scientific technology roles
- Masters or PhD degree in chemistry, biology, pharmaceutical sciences, computational science, or related field
- Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into structured, client-ready solutions
- Experience engaging directly with external scientific and technical stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills, with confidence in presenting to both technical experts and senior decision-makers
- Experience designing or supporting custom research workflows, AI platforms, or computational drug discovery solutions
- Prior involvement in pre-sales, solutions consulting, or customer-facing technical roles
- Familiarity with AI-assisted drug discovery, physics-based modeling, or integrated discovery platforms
- Exposure to biotech or pharma decision-making processes and project life cycles
- Bilingual abilities (English, Mandarin) are a plus
- Delivery of high-quality, well-scoped solution architectures that support successful commercial engagements
- Strong trust established with both customers and internal teams as solution owner
- Clear contribution to improved BD effectiveness through stronger technical clarity and alignment
- Development of reusable solution patterns that improve consistency and scalability across engagements
Competitive base salary dependent on a number of factors including experience, education, degrees held, market data, and business needs. Performance-based commission tied to closed revenue. Comprehensive benefits package including healthcare, dental, vision, and PTO.
