Centric Consulting is seeking an Insurance Consulting Manager to lead client-facing project delivery while cultivating strong executive relationships that drive long-term partnership and business growth. This role blends insurance domain expertise, project/program management, and strategic client engagement to help our insurance clients modernize operations, improve customer experience, and deliver transformational initiatives.

In this role, you will:

Project & Delivery Leadership
  • Understand client strategies, challenges, and business objectives, and translate them into actionable project goals.
  • Lead the delivery of complex insurance projects, from planning through execution and implementation - ensuring alignment with client strategic priorities.
  • Oversee delivery of detailed project plans, work streams, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful execution.
  • Monitor project metrics and proactively address deviations in quality, cost, scope, or schedule.
  • Direct and mentor project team members, providing timely feedback and promoting high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Lead custom software development or integration projects and guide teams through all phases of the SDLC (planning, requirements, development, testing, deployment).
Client Relationship Management & Business Growth
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with client partners and executive sponsors.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to expand engagement and support account growth.
  • Support proposal development, including solutioning, SOW creation, and pricing strategy.
  • Serve as a steady, adaptable presence in challenging situations, helping clients navigate change and uncertainty.
Insurance & Technical Expertise
  • Analyze existing business and technical processes, identify improvement opportunities, and develop innovative solutions tailored to insurance clients.
  • Apply deep knowledge of P&C, Life, or Specialty Insurance operations to guide solution design and delivery.
  • Provide insights into industry trends, regulatory impacts, and modernization opportunities.
  • Leverage knowledge of Policy Admin Systems (Policy, Billing, Claims) and related insurance technologies.
Who You Are:
  • Deep understanding of the Insurance industry, including current issues, modernization trends, and best-practice solutions.
  • 10+ years of project management experience, including 6+ years within the insurance sector—preferably in a consulting or internal strategy/transformation role.
  • Experience working across business and technology functions (e.g., Data & Analytics, Process Improvement, RPA, Project Management).
  • Strong experience in Property & Casualty insurance across the end-to-end policy life cycle.
  • Hands-on experience with Policy Administration systems (Policy, Billing, Claims).
  • Passionate about helping insurance clients transform their business through technology and operational excellence.
  • Executive-level written and verbal communication skills, both internally and with clients.
  • Broad awareness of industry trends, market forces, and emerging technologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
