Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute Dev Ops strategy and integration methodology for enterprise cloud solutions
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, validation, and risk analysis
- Lead supportability and effectiveness analyses for total cloud systems across multiple platforms
- Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, and requirements allocation
- Define interface specifications for hardware and software integration
- Utilize trends and metrics to identify opportunities for improvements within existing frameworks, tools, and processes
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment
- Enable rapid development and release of changes and bug-fixes on an as-required basis
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, Cloud Formation, ARM templates, etc.
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions for cloud environments
- Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity requirements and security automation
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize software delivery lifecycle
- Mentor team members on Dev Ops best practices and emerging technologies
- Master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 15 years of experience in IT infrastructure, software development, and Dev Ops engineering
- Expert-level proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git Lab CI, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions)
- Extensive experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation, Ansible, ARM templates)
- Deep knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, GKE)
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, Power Shell)
- Expert understanding of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, OCI, GCP)
- Proven ability to lead complex Dev Ops initiatives and drive organizational change
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance (minimum)
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Top Secret clearance
- Two or more cloud certifications (AWS Dev Ops Engineer, Azure Dev Ops Engineer, GCP Dev Ops Engineer)
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent IAT Level II certification
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD)
- Experience with DoD Cloud Computing SRG and FedRAMP/FedRAMP+ environments
- Knowledge of NIST Risk Management Framework (RMF) and continuous ATO processes
- Experience with Git Ops practices and tools (ArgoCD, Flux)
- Experience supporting DoD or Federal enterprise systems
