We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide expert hardware and software support to employees and new hires across multiple locations. This role is ideal for highly organized, adaptable, and customer-focused individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite and remote support for Windows and Apple desktops/laptops (IMAC – Installations, Moves, Additions, and Changes)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues on Windows, macOS, and mobile devices
- Manage hardware refreshes, warranty repairs, and equipment redeployment
- Install, configure, and support networked printers and AV systems
- Oversee inventory, asset tagging, and depot operations
- Coordinate equipment shipments, returns, and asset reclaim
- Support executive/VIP users and perform AV system health checks
- Assist with onboarding new hires and provide walk-up support
- Maintain asset management systems and deliver weekly inventory/outflow reports
- Collaborate with external vendors for hardware repairs and field dispatch
- Ensure timely resolution of service requests and incidents
- Maintain compliance with internal standards and policies
- 3–5 years of experience in IT support roles
- Proficiency with Windows 10, macOS, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience imaging and deploying Windows OS
- Basic networking knowledge (
TCP/IP, Ethernet, Windows Networking
) - Familiarity with asset management and inventory tracking
- Experience supporting networked printers and AV systems
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs
- Valid driver’s license with access to a personal vehicle
- Experience in the automotive manufacturing industry
- MCP and/or A+ certifications
- Help desk or call center experience
- Skilled in spreadsheet and reporting tools
- Strong written documentation and reporting abilities
- Experience supporting executive-level users
- Hands-on role in a collaborative environment
