Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Scrum Master to support the Investor Research Team at Massachusetts Financial Services. This role will work closely with two Global Investment Technology (GIT) portfolio teams
, driving Agile practices and ensuring successful delivery of complex initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience within Asset Management
, deep knowledge of Agile methodologies
, and the ability to collaborate with senior leadership and diverse stakeholders
.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as Scrum Master for two Agile teams within the Global Investment Technology (GIT) portfolio.
  • Sprint Planning
  • Daily Standups
  • Sprint Reviews
  • Guide teams in Agile best practices, Scrum, and Kanban frameworks
    .
  • Help increase overall Agile maturity across teams
    .
  • Support delivery of complex initiatives, releases, and epics
    .
  • Act as a servant leader
    , removing impediments and enabling teams to perform effectively.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage workflow across teams and potentially perform Scrum-of-Scrums coordination
    .
  • Encourage continuous improvement and Agile adoption across the organization.
  • Utilize tools such as:
  • Jira
  • Aha
  • Share Point
  • Power Automate
  • Confluence
  • Leverage AI tools such as internal ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot to improve processes and efficiency.
  • Participate and actively contribute to the Agile Community
    .
Required Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience in Asset Management industry
    .
  • Strong hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments
    .
  • Deep knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies
    .
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams and senior leadership
    .
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage complex personalities and high-demand environments
    .
  • Experience using Agile tools like Jira and Confluence
    .
  • Must be local to Boston, MA (Hybrid role).
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5–7 years experience in Scrum Master or similar Agile roles.
  • Experience delivering multiple releases, versions, and epics
    .
  • Exposure to programming or development environments
    .
  • Prior experience leading teams and influencing stakeholders.
