Operations Associate - Technology Support

Growing Investment Manager headquartered out of Boston is seeking a Technology Support Specialist to add to their Operations team. This role will report directly to the Head of Operations, with a few dotted lines to other department leadership.

Great role for somebody who worked in a Help Desk role, or has 1-2 years of similar experience supporting hardware, software, and miscellaneous IT issues.

• Troubleshoot hardware, network and software issues across all departments.
• Provide technical assistance to end users seeking hardware and software support.
• Order, install, and maintain hardware such as laptops / desktops / printers / monitors
• Set up and maintain user accounts in a variety of software platforms.
• Manage and maintain anti-virus, backup, and recovery software.
• Field basic IT questions.
• Ad hoc projects as they arise.

• Must be an analytical thinker and have strong written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of company supported hardware, software, operating systems and equipment.
• Customer support and network, help desk experience preferred
