Responsibilities

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Technical Writer in Boston, MA.

Summary:

We are seeking a Technical Writer to develop and maintain clear, compliant end-user documentation for medical devices. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and compliance with FDA and ISO requirements.

• Author and update IFUs, user manuals, package inserts, and quick reference guides
• Technical Writer will develop structured, reusable content using Mad Cap Flare
• Ensure labeling documentation meets regulatory and quality standards
• Support design control activities and document changes through change control
• Collaborate with Regulatory, Quality, Engineering, and Marketing teams

• Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or related field
• 3-5 years of technical writing experience in the medical device or life sciences industry
• Strong experience with Mad Cap Flare and structured documentation
• Familiarity with QMS environments and regulatory requirements
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
