Has demonstrable, deep expertise in one or more commercial‑grade Trade Order Management Systems. Should understand key functions for:

  • Trading
  • Compliance
  • Middle Office
  • Portfolio Construction

Should understand the construction of the database, how trades and block orders move through the system, basic table construction and interoperability.

    • Assess needed resources; match resource to needs

Experience
  • Minimum of 3 complete implementations in a lead role for firms with a minimum of $20B AUM and at least one firm with AUM >$200B.
  • Minimum of 7 years of directly‑related experience and 10 years of industry experience.
  • Candidate should have industry contacts that support his/her level of industry experience.
Responsibilities
  • Manage and grow the OMS practice and deliver consulting services.
  • Accurately assess what clients need.
  • Manage complex projects with multiple streams.
  • Drive projects to produce desired outcomes.
  • Identify problems/blockers and coach clients and teams through to resolution.
Grow The Practice In Accordance With Company Goals
  • Establish IMP as a trusted partner with clients by delivering consistently outstanding service.
  • Expand contacts throughout the client organization.
  • Land additional projects at current clients.
Demonstrate Industry Thought Leadership
  • Stay up to date on industry best practices and trends.
  • Build personal credentials and demonstrate expertise by completing speaking engagements each quarter, with at least one external (e.g. industry conference).
  • Share knowledge with the team.
  • Assist in sales by bringing OMS subject‑matter expertise to client meetings.
