General Summary

Vertex is seeking a Senior Manager, PSP Data Governance & Cross Program Analytics to operationalize and mature enterprise data governance frameworks and tools within the Patient Support organization, while enabling cross program analytics that drive consistent, high‑quality decision‑making. This role will apply enterprise governance standards to PSP‑specific data sources, including CRM platforms, vendor feeds, and PHI‑enabled reporting environments. The Senior Manager will establish stewardship models, define data standards and controls, own data classification, and drive accountability to ensure compliant, trusted, and analytics‑ready data, enabling scalable reporting and integrated insights across patient support programs.

Additionally, this role will lead cross program analytics execution, delivering standardized KPIs, dashboards, and performance insights that support operational excellence across the patient support organization. The ideal candidate brings data governance experience, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence cross‑functional partners in a complex, matrixed environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operationalize the enterprise data governance framework and process within Patient Support by establishing PSP‑specific data standards, definitions, controls, documentation, and data quality rules to ensure consistent, compliant, and scalable use of data across programs.
  • Lead collaboration with data domain owners, data stewards and data custodians to drive adoption of governance policies.
  • Provide oversight and accountability for data quality management across PSP data sources, including CRM systems and vendor feeds.
  • Establish and maintain end‑to‑end traceability for priority patient support metrics (source transformation KPI dashboard), enabling transparency, auditability, and leadership confidence in reported insights.
  • Lead cross‑program analytics execution, including the development and maintenance of standardized KPIs, dashboards, and scorecards that support consistent reporting and insight generation.
  • Partner with Patient Support CoE teams (Program Quality, Systems, Vendor Management) to align analytics and governance efforts with operational priorities and broader program strategies.
  • Partner with Legal and Privacy teams to operationalize analytics guardrails and access controls, ensuring outputs adhere to consent, data minimization, and purpose‑of‑use policies.
  • Communicate insights to program and brand leadership, influencing data‑driven decision‑making across the organization.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrated expertise leading data quality and data governance initiatives while successfully influencing cross‑functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated process design and documentation skills, with experience establishing data standards and governance workflows.
  • Proven ability to synthesize complex data, identify key trends, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong data storytelling and communication skills, translating analytical insights into clear, compelling narratives for cross‑functional and midlevel leadership.
  • Advanced analytical expertise with proficiency in Excel, SQL, and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to speed analytic development.
  • Knowledge of data management tools and software, (e.g. Snowflake and Collibra or similar tools).
  • Highly flexible, comfortable navigating ambiguity and thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g. Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, Healthcare Analytics, or related field).
  • 6+ years of experience in data governance, data quality and/or commercial analytics.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross‑functional initiatives and driving operational excellence through data.
