Senior Cloud Network Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking for a Senior Cloud Network Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The role focuses on on-prem and cloud architecture, design, and implementation of our networking environment. The engineer will drive continuous improvement through data network technologies, network automation, and Infrastructure as Code.

• Support all aspects of Arrowstreet’s on-prem and cloud network environment.
• Research and implement network and security solutions, and value-add technologies.
• Continuously improve current network and cloud environments for optimal performance.
• Design and support infrastructures with security in mind: hardening, security analysis, vulnerability assessments, and remediations.
• Create and maintain team operational documentation.
• Augment teams automation capabilities and Infrastructure as Code initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotation.

• At least eight (8) years of routing and switching experience in an enterprise environment.
• Hands-on experience integrating on-prem and cloud provider networks.
• Experience with cloud provider network infrastructures (AWS, Azure), connectivity solutions (direct-connect, Express Route, S2S VPNs) leveraging Terraform.
• Routing between on-prem and cloud VPCs/subnets while enforcing routing policies for cloud-bound traffic.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, architecture, and best practices.
• Proficiency in Infrastructure management and automation based on Infrastructure as Code (Python/Shell, Terraform/Ansible, Git, Pipelines).
• Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN/MAN technologies based on Cisco (NX-OS, IOS-XE), Palo Alto firewalls, and F5 BIGIP load-balancers.
• Comprehensive network architecture experience, including design and reference architecture documentation.
• Hands-on experience with network tools deployments (vendor solutions, API integrations, microservices hosting).
• Ability to work independently, develop long-term strategic enterprise network goals, and create a network technology roadmap.
• Strong communication skills, fostering relationships across teams and building trust.
• Technical plus: working knowledge of Cisco ISE or other NAC solutions; experience with Cisco Meraki Wireless infrastructure.

Base salary range: $105,000 – $320,000 per year. Total compensation may include additional discretionary bonuses and benefits.
