Enterprise Application Engineer

Our client is an international law firm looking to hire an Enterprise Support Engineer. The Application Engineer will play a key role in supporting, enhancing, and optimizing the firm’s legal technology ecosystem. This role centers on managing and extending the document and records management platforms—primarily iManage and Adherent—while leveraging strong SQL skills to support reporting, integrations, and data integrity.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for the firm’s core legal applications, with primary responsibility for iManage and Adherent systems.
• Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support, troubleshooting application issues, diagnosing root causes, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Manage application configuration, updates, enhancements, and integrations in partnership with IT and vendor teams.
• Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, scripts, and integrations to support application operations, reporting, and data migrations.
• Support API-based workflows and automation between iManage, Adherent, and other firm systems (e.g., intake, time & billing, HRIS).
• Support data governance, security, permissions across iManage and Adherent platforms.
• Collaborate with KM, Legal Engineering, and Practice Support teams to optimize document lifecycle processes.

• 5+ years of experience supporting and administering enterprise applications in a law firm or similar professional services environment.
• Hands‑on experience with iManage Work, iManage Control Center, iManage Records Manager, and Adherent.
• Strong proficiency in SQL (queries, stored procedures, data analysis, reporting).
• Experience with integrations, APIs, and automation tools.
• Experience with iManage and modern authentication/identity management.
• Exposure to Power Shell, Python, or Okta workflow.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
