We have an exciting opportunity for an EDI Developer that specifically has experience with Edifecs Smart Trader Platform. The resource will be working on a backlog of project work, and they have budget through the end of December. Ideal candidate would have experience with QNXT but also open to another claims payment system.

Day to Day:
- Will be helping with a backlog of work. They have a list of prioritization.
- Familiarity with most EDI codes is helpful but the most critical will be on the claims side.
- SQL Skills to capture data
- Will be doing a fair amount of customization work within Edifecs
- They use .NET so must have experience with .NET to do this role.
• Strong knowledge and working experience in healthcare domain.
• Experience with Edifecs/JavaScript/SQL
• Responsible for design, development, and implementation of Edifecs solution.
• Excellent understanding of technical and business challenges relating to EDI product upgrades.
• Able to configure the Edifecs tools, and understand systems integration, application, technical behavior, and business / technical requirements.
• Experience with Edifecs Healthcare 9.x suite, and Healthcare Payer systems.
• Responsible for any configuration changes in XEngine configuration files for any trading partner specific validation.
• Create/update maps, guidelines and profiles using Edifecs tools such as EDIFECS Spec Builder, Map Builder, EAM as per functional logic.
• Detailed understanding of EDI Healthcare transaction sets, e.g. 270/271, 276/277, 834, 837 I/P, 835, 278, 820.
• Strong skills in SQL Query development, including but not limited to the ability to create moderately complex SQL queries with demonstrated experience in writing SQL scripts for data discovery, requirements validation, reports, and testing.
• Strong skills in programming languages such as C#.
• Development Experience in .Net Framework
• Working knowledge of various source control technologies such as Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub and Git
• At least seven years of EDI experience in a healthcare environment, including experience with HIPAA requirements and X12;
• Experience with QNXT, or similar, claims payment system.
