Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced IBM Data Stage & Cognos Consultant with strong expertise in IBM Cognos Architecture, Framework Manager, IBM Info Sphere Data Stage, and PL/SQL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for architecting enterprise data integration, reporting, and analytics solutions while supporting modernization initiatives involving cloud and big data technologies. Candidates must be local to Boston for onsite client evaluation.
Key Responsibilities Architecture & Solution Design- Design and architect enterprise data integration and reporting solutions using IBM Cognos, Framework Manager and IBM Info Sphere Data Stage.
- Define scalable data architecture and reporting frameworks aligned with business requirements.
- Lead solution design, technical architecture reviews, and implementation planning.
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using IBM Data Stage.
- Design and maintain data integration pipelines across enterprise systems.
- Build and optimize data transformation logic using PL/SQL.
- Support data modeling, reconciliation, and enterprise reporting requirements.
- Architect and support reporting solutions using IBM Cognos Analytics and Framework Manager semantic models.
- Work with business stakeholders to translate reporting and analytics requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Support modernization initiatives involving Databricks, Apache Spark / Scala, and AWS cloud platforms.
- Collaborate on migration or hybrid architecture strategies where required.

- 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, BI, or ETL engineering.
