About the RoleThe firm is seeking a Platform Engineer to help expand and modernize its infrastructure and Dev Ops ecosystem. This individual will play a key role in building scalable, reliable, and highly automated platforms that support research, development, and production trading systems.
The role is ideal for someone passionate about Kubernetes, cloud-native infrastructure, automation, observability, and developer enablement. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, security, and trading teams while helping integrate emerging AI tooling into operational workflows.
Responsibilities- Build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure, including GPU-enabled workloads and Helm-based orchestration
- Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, container platforms, and automated deployment workflows
- Maintain infrastructure-as-code environments using Terraform and Ansible
- Drive observability, monitoring, incident response, and platform reliability initiatives
- Partner with development, security, and trading teams to improve platform capabilities and operational efficiency
- 3+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, SRE, Dev Ops, or Systems Administration within fast-paced technical environments
- Strong experience with Python scripting, Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, and infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
- Hands‑on knowledge of CI/CD workflows, observability platforms (Grafana/Prometheus), and incident management tooling
- Experience supporting both cloud and on‑prem infrastructure environments, including AWS and/or GCP
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and document technical processes effectively
