Our client is seeking an experienced field service and technical support professional to serve as a subject matter expert for chromatography and mass spectrometry instrumentation. This individual will provide advanced troubleshooting support, lead technical escalations, mentor engineers, support service process improvements, and ensure high-quality service delivery for laboratory customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical lead for chromatography and mass spectrometry service activities
  • Support and resolve complex field service escalations
  • Perform installation, maintenance, repair, qualification, and troubleshooting of analytical laboratory instrumentation
  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers and field engineers

    Develop and maintain service procedures, qualification protocols, and technical documentation
  • Support service pricing, labor estimates, and inventory planning
  • Train and mentor engineering team members on instrumentation maintenance and troubleshooting
  • Ensure compliance with GxP and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and provide recommendations to optimize instrument performance
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience supporting analytical laboratory instrumentation
  • 3+ years of experience working in a regulated (GxP) environment.
  • Hands-on experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry platforms, including HPLC/UHPLC, LC-MS, GC, GC-MS, IC, and related technologies
  • Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer-facing skills
