Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior QE Lead QA Manager with strong functional testing expertise and deep understanding of Asset Management Investment Services. The role requires strong leadership capabilities to manage QA delivery| proactively identify risks| provide timely escalations| and ensure transparent reporting to stakeholders and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end functional testing across complex| enterprise-scale applications.
- Provide QE leadership for systems within Asset Management Investment Management domains.
- Define and execute test strategy| test planning| and sprint-level testing activities.
Perform accurate test estimations| prioritize defects| and apply risk-based testing approaches. - Proactively identify quality| delivery| and release risks| and escalate issues in a timely manner with clear impact analysis and mitigation plans.
- Ensure regular QE status reporting| including test progress| defect trends| risk assessment| and release readiness| to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive robust regression testing strategy| identify critical regression scenarios| and guide automation teams on regression coverage.
- Own defect lifecycle management| ensuring high-quality triaging| prioritization| and closure.
- Work closely with product managers and business stakeholders to understand functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Participate in product backlog grooming| sprint planning| and release discussions| effectively pushing back on unrealistic timelines to maintain quality and delivery confidence.
- Manage test execution and reporting using JIRA.
- Perform and guide teams in
- SQL-based data validation
- ETL data warehouse testing
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level QE engineers| promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
- Ensure adherence to QE standards| governance| and compliance processes.
- 10 years of overall QE experience| including leading large or distributed QA teams.
- Strong expertise in functional testing of enterprise applications.
Demonstrated experience in Asset Management Investment Services domain. - Proven ability to identify risks early| escalate appropriately| and communicate clearly with senior leadership.
- Strong experience in stakeholder management and executive reporting.
- Hands-on expertise in SQL, ETL and data validation
- Extensive experience in regression testing and test strategy definition.
- Strong experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Advanced proficiency in JIRA for test management and defect tracking.
- Excellent analytical| estimation| communication| and leadership skills.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business requirements into clear test scenarios.
