Our client, a leading global private investment firm managing approximately $160 billion in AUM, is currently looking for a Workday Support Engineer to support Workday Financial
.
This is direct-hire permanent opportunity. This will be hybrid in their Boston (Back Bay) office.
Must be local to greater Boston area.
This position will primarily focus on Workday Financial
, while also supporting a range of other SaaS platforms and additional applications as needed. The individual will work closely with business stakeholders, software development teams, and third-party vendors to troubleshoot issues, manage production incidents, and implement operational improvements across supported platforms.
- Monitor and support production systems, integrations, and data pipelines
- Troubleshoot application, data, and integration issues across enterprise platforms
- Manage and resolve incidents using ITIL based practices, lead root cause analysis when needed
- Support user access, provisioning, and platform administration
- Partner with development teams, business analysts and vendors to resolve issues and implement improvements
- Assist with releases, system upgrades, and environment maintenance
- Respond to business data inquiries and operational support requests
- Maintain documentation and standard operating procedures for recurring issues
- 5+ years of experience in application or production support within enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with supporting Workday Financials
- Proficiency in Workday integrations
, including EIB, custom reports, and scheduled processes - Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve Workday integration errors and warnings
- Experience managing incidents end-to-end and collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, assess urgency, and escalation appropriately
- Proactive problem-solver with a focus on reducing recurring issues and improving user experience
- Salesforce experience, including administration or data management
- Familiarity with integration tools and job schedulers
- Knowledge of ITIL practices
- Experience with Workday Studio
