** The Vertex's AI and Governance co-op program is a 6-month experiential training program for students currently working towards an undergraduate or advanced degree in Information Systems or similar fields. If you are passionate, collaborative, and growth-minded, a co-op at Vertex will help you gain meaningful experience in our DTE functional areas and serve as a launchpad for your career.

** What you will be doing:**
* ** Innovate with Agentic AI Solutions**:
Collaborate with business and technical team to identify, design and build cutting-edge AI-driven solutions that streamline and automate critical processes, including information gathering, requirement definition, and project documentation for one or more high-impact portfolio projects.
* ** Be the Bridge Between Teams**:
Act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and data platform teams, driving essential data cataloging efforts. Your insights will directly influence the user experience of tools like Collibra and Data Marketplace, ensuring they are intuitive and business-user friendly.
** Responsibilities:**
* ** Developing AI Solutions****:**  + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for Agentic AI solutions.  + Design and build tools to automate tasks such as information gathering, requirement definition, and project documentation.  + Test and refine agents to ensure they meet business needs and improve operational efficiency**.**  +
