The Manufacturing & Supply Chain Center of Excellence (CoE) is building a team in Automotive & Manufacturing to define how factories and supply networks run in an era powered by cloud and AI. We are looking for a Senior Tech Lead to drive the technical vision and go‑to‑market execution for smart manufacturing and supply chain solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Own the technology strategy and execution for manufacturing and supply chain use cases, translating industry challenges into AWS‑native solutions.
- Develop and deliver go‑to‑market assets such as reference architectures, white papers, workshops, code samples, and thought‑leadership content.
- Collaborate across product, partner, and sales teams to align priorities and accelerate customer outcomes.
- Engage directly with customers as a trusted technical advisor, demonstrating cloud & AI possibilities and challenging the impossible to deliver lighthouse deployments.
- Act as an internal ambassador, synthesizing customer engagements and industry trends to inform the strategic roadmap.
- 8+ years of experience in technology domain areas (software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
- Deep knowledge of AWS services, market segments, and the manufacturing industry.
- Strong communicator who can translate complex architectures into business value for executives and practitioners.
- Ability to set direction where none exists and rally cross‑functional teams to deliver.
- Experience working with end‑user or developer communities.
- Experience with SAP S/4
HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP, or Cloud ERP Private. - Professional experience in military or similar disciplined environments.
- Experience with systems integrators and consulting companies to achieve sales.
- Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
- 3+ years of technical specialist, design, and architecture experience or AWS Associate level certification.
- Experience communicating across technical and non‑technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
- Experience with Six Sigma, lean manufacturing, or retrofits, launches, or automation deployments.
- Understanding of security, risk, compliance frameworks, disaster recovery, high‑availability architectures, hardware, operating systems, and networking connectivity.
- Knowledge of common enterprise applications and commercial software used in the manufacturing industry.
Base salary ranges vary by location:
USA, MA, Boston: 153,600 – 207,800 USD annually
USA, TN, Nashville: 145,900 – 197,400 USD annually
USA, TX, Austin: 153,600 – 207,800 USD annually
USA, WA, Seattle: 153,600 – 207,800 USD annually
