Desktop Support Specialist

Akkodis is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist on-site in Boston, MA, for a Contract Position in the United States.

Pay Range: $30-$35 /hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform complex technical support, deployment, and troubleshooting activities remotely or at customer sites.
  • Lead and coordinate small teams to successfully deliver assigned work packages in accordance with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership and subject matter expertise within your area of specialization.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation and reports to ensure compliance with company and customer procedures.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of technical processes, procedures, and standards.
  • Escalate issues appropriately and proactively manage escalations to ensure timely resolution.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders regarding complex technical matters.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and dynamic team environments.
  • Identify and pursue professional development opportunities aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a role model by mentoring colleagues and sharing technical knowledge and best practices.
