Responsibilities
- Design and configure Workday modules across assigned functional areas.
- Oversee complex Workday integrations using Workday Studio, EIB, and middleware platforms.
- Lead performance tuning, system audits, data quality governance, and compliance initiatives.
- Develop advanced security frameworks, role‑based access models, and audit controls.
- Define enterprise reporting standards leveraging Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics.
- Manage technical aspects of Workday system upgrades, including configuration updates, regression testing, and validation of new features.
- Ensure technical readiness for Workday release cycles and coordinate upgrade‑related activities across teams.
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, work schedules, and timelines.
- Identify required resources and provide timely project status updates.
- Drive consensus among business stakeholders and IT teams regarding system solutions.
- Facilitate leadership briefings, presenting technical strategies, project milestones, and ROI analyses.
- Author strategic documentation, governance standards, and technical frameworks.
- Build strong relationships with business users and external Workday partners.
- Clearly communicate Workday concepts, design decisions, and business impacts.
- Advise business leaders on Workday capabilities, opportunities, adoption, and optimization initiatives.
- Lead design, development, testing, and documentation of Workday integrations, data transformation rules, and reconciliation procedures.
- Standardize and streamline enterprise reporting practices.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture teams to ensure Workday interoperability and scalability.
- Coordinate integration testing and validation during Workday upgrade cycles.
- Assess the impact of new Workday features on existing integrations and reporting frameworks.
- Mentor Workday analysts and administrators while establishing technical standards and best practices.
- Serve as the primary IT Workday lead for executive stakeholders during major initiatives and redesigns.
- Plan and execute system upgrades, feature adoption, regression testing, and impact analysis.
- Coordinate upgrade cycles aligned with Workday release schedules and organizational change management processes.
- Lead validation of new functionality, security updates, and reporting enhancements.
- Drive scoping, planning, and execution of enterprise‑wide Workday programs.
- Author executive‑level project proposals, charters, and risk assessments.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience (6 years equivalent experience accepted).
- 6+ years of progressive experience in Workday systems design, implementation, and support.
- Proven experience leading Workday implementations and governance initiatives.
- Experience with in Healthcare or Higher Education environments.
- Workday Certified HCM and Finance credentials preferred.
